The Red Coach Grill - Yonkers, NY - Long Gone

Used to be located in Cross County Shopping Center...

Every Easter when I was young we would have a huge family dinner at the Red Coach Grill in Yonkers - Many good times were had...It was the rare instance the both side of my family would be together...and what mess that would be..

Both grandma's in one picture...outside the Red Coach Grill

Used to go there about twice a year as a child in the 1970s. Didn't they have a large window in the dining room that looked out back to a large, wide lawn with trees? I only ever saw it at night. I just remember it was such a treat when we went there, and the food was sooo good. NYPL has a menu posted online: http://menus.nypl.org/menu_pages/52612

Thanks for posting and sharing this. When I was a child and we would visit my great grandmother who lived in New York we would sometimes take her here for lunch. I remember how beautiful the lawn was.
