Staycation - 2008 - Big Apple Con - Empire City

A nasty heat wave hit New York this weekend...so of course I have to trek down to NYC for the - Big Apple Comic book Convention - This used to be a quarterly show but in the last year it went biannual. The show is blah but its the only game in town.

The Penn Plaza Pavilion (if you can call it that) is connected to the Hotel Pennsylvania - right across from MSG.

501st Stormtroopers were out in force.


Jim Hanley's Universe (4 West 33rd St.) - A great comic book store - its as good a the convention stuff and better organized.
