Me and my cousin Pete used to regularly watch horror films together at his house during mid 80's...we would walk over to his local video store in New Rochelle (Casa Video..now long gone) and pick out the one with the coolest/goriest cover...such as these shittie classics The Gates of Hell/City of the Living Dead - Creepers/Phenomena..... but as soon as it was over.... we were like "what the Fuck".....I have now grown to love those movie......Which bring us to Demons....may be the only video we rented that really delivered on its cool cover.....the gore effects we so good, and so over the top...I hadn't seen stuff like this since The Thing (1980)
