Sometimes terrible things happen quite naturally
I have only seen this (dark- scary - strange) movie once in the theater....and its memory always nagged me because i would start to describe to someone this "great horror movie" I saw and realize I could never remember its name.....and its seem that after a brief appearance on home video (VHS) in the US ...the movie just disappeared........no one knew... or saw ....or ever heard about it... I started to to think that maybe I was mixing up memories of movies....but along comes the internet and..... no.... the movie came out and thats was that. So lets hope for a proper US DVD soon...
.....adding to the rareness of this movie.....I could not find a single useable US 1 sheet poster on the internet.....I borrowed this very cool Japanese poster from Viggo Works

Let me get this straight...
Straight to video, short time in stores, never to be seen of again had to hunt it down on the net...
But its a great flick?!...
Usually, that is not the path for a good flick...
Why you think it is so good?
Well Chris.....I guess what I'm saying is that.... for a film that I have seen just once in the theater.....It has stuck with (haunted) me....as you know I see alota movies and.. ..who knows...if the film was a hit.... constantly on TV... and always available on home video...the mystery of it would of long ago faded away....but since the move remains in the shadows of my memory & home video...i'm am still fascinated with it.....like what the hell did I remember....was the movie that good....I do doubt myself Chris...I'm sure if we sat down and watched the movie together...you would probably punch me in the face....
Now as far a "why do I like it"....its hard to say at this point....19 years have passed since I have seen it.....but to this day the twenty year old inside me... that saw the movie... still is a little freaked out by it......hey I could see the movie tomorrow and it may suck.....but it would be nice if all that hype I've worked up in my head actually pays off some day.....its part of my home viewing white whales......

Well said. Unfortunately I dont remember any of em... I am sure I saw em, for I know your memory is far more reliable than mine.
Heres a thought... between 40 and 70 male dna completely replaces itself every ten years, meaning every ten years from here on out our entire body will be replicated...
