I would have loved to see a show at the Capitol in Passaic. The Capitol was the place to play in jersey before the Brendan Byrne Arena was built. All the big acts played there. It closed I believed in 87, one year after I moved to NJ. I read a somewhere that John Scher used to video tape all the acts. Some say the videotapes were in the Capitol when it burned down. Who knows? Another piece of Rock and Roll folklore. I once looked for the Capitol to take pictures of it but found it was already demolished. Passaic is a shit hole, but many of their buildings should be considered for landmark status.
